vogmae interactive networked video practice

vogmae is the online archive/project of Adrian Miles. It collects research and projects that have been undertaken (once upon a time, current and perhaps even some pointers to what might become). A great deal of my research and practice can be characterised as thinking through the relation of cinema to new media forms. In particular how hypertext can be theorised (and undertaken) as a post-cinematic writing, and then more recently to bring hypertext into the space of video to rethink video as a temporal, linear object.

Current research explores online video and its possible future forms, including video blogging, interactive documentary and yet to be invented essayist forms.
