This is the first hypertext project that I undertook. The site was originally written using Eastgate's Storyspace and then exported into HTML. It was first put online in 1993, and republished with slight chances twice since then. The current version was published in 1996 and there have been no additions, amendments or corrections made to it since then. It does contain some errors, and there is also some recent material (and better online sites) that have appeared since. It was made before databases became the bread and butter of the web and certainly before things like CMS' were available. So it was all hand linked within Storyspace and exported via a template.

In its day it was recognised as one of the first hypertextual cinema studies projects (as opposed to just putting up textual content online) and picked up a couple of those 'best of' awards that were popular in those good ole days. I
