In 2003 I was the academic chair of MelbourneDAC, the 5th International Digital Arts and Culture conference. Was six days of outstanding papers, discussions, informal conversations (including a day out in the Yarra Valley) and an accompanying exhibition (curated by Antoanetta Ivanova).
