Triptych 3
A rhizome template that is a triptych, three videos with a soundtrack.
This rhizome triptych allows you to load and play three videos simultaneously, all within the one video window. Each of these videos exist outside of the player QuickTime movie and so can have different durations and even locations online. In addition a fourth file can be loaded and played, which is intended for a soundtrack. All tracks loop.
To use this download the zip archive below and edit the XML file (rhizome3.xml) to point to the URLs of the QuickTime files you wish to load. The fourth listed file is the soundtrack. Upload the QuickTime movie and the XML file to a server and play in the usual way by loading the QuickTime movie. The XML file and the QuickTime file must always be in the same directory - the actual videos you choose to play however can be anywhere, they just need a valid URL.
There are controllers for each of the video tracks, but not the audio. Additional information is available in the faq and introduction.
