Odds and bobs, though right now all I have is a collection of links related to HTML 5 video. HTML 5 has elevated video to be part of the HTML specification for the first time (so there is now a video tag, just like there’s been an img tag for ever), and combined with Javascript and CSS3 there is now a very sophisticated suite of tools available.

The research blog of Adrian Miles. Adrian Miles is a Senior Lecturer in New Media and currently the Program Director of the labsome Honours research studio at RMIT, in Melbourne, Australia. He has also been a senior new media researcher in the InterMedia Lab at the University of Bergen, Norway. He is very interested in the relation between hypertext and networked interactive video. Adrian's research interests include softvideo, online video, hypertext and hypermedia, appropriate pedagogies for new media education, digital poetics, and the use of Deleuze's cinema philosophy in the context of digital poetics and online interactive video.
