This was shot on the train from Toulouse to Albi, in the south of France. The pattern on the wall of the train was really interesting, and the play of light and shadow across it was what I was interested in. In viewing this again I had no idea what on earth the thing actually does. Luckily I still had the project files, though before having a look inside I think I worked out (but you can't actually tell from the video), that mousing into any part of the video slows the video, and clicking on the video window restores it to normal speed.
An ineffective work as the user can't actually see, or tell, the effect of their actions on it (contrast this with something like Danish Snow).
Actually, had a look in the project file and yep, mousing in slows the video, clicking restores to normal playback rate. Oh, and since there is a script that changes the speed every time you mouse over the video it is very hard to shut the thing up (another black mark).
