vog (a BETA videoblog)

As with Sydney Light One, this was shot on the mobile (Nokia N97) because it did a worse job than my Xacti with the contrast. This is another abstract work, with two child movie video tracks. The higher quality one is loaded by default, and mousing into the centre square loads and plays a much more highly compressed version of the same video. The right hand button toggles a static text track over the video.

Abstraction. Light as noise. Video seeking refulgence as one of those moments of approaching its own zero degree of origin and signal and register. This is how I am drawn to the women in my life.
