Vive la baleine is the title for the film when it was reissued by S.L.O.N. in 1970 (which some sources also list as 1972).
Chris Marker did the voice over narration for this film. It is unclear
from the sources whether this means he read the narration or wrote it,
however given his history of writing commentaries the latter seems more
likely. Monaco, et al list Marker as a director of this film.
