Marker's credits
Les Hommes de la baleine. (1956) Ruspoli is a documentary
filmmaker who is a part of the general European documentary movement
that might be able to be characterised by the names Chris Marker, Jean
Rouch and Jacques Rozier. Graham (1964) as an introductory
comment to a reading of Ruspoli's Regards sur la Folie (no date) writes
"Take Jean Rouch and Mario Ruspoli, the two directors most commonly
associated with cinéma-vérité in France" but offers
little more biographical information. References
