Books of Words, Photographs, and Scripts . . .
Part of the Chris Marker World Wide Web Site.
Written by Adrian Miles.
These are all books and written
works by Marker. Some of them are collections of photographs by Marker
accompanied by commentary, others are collections of his scripts, and
still others are novels, plays, and poems.
In most cases reference is to title only, as publication
details have not been able to be determined. In general, aside from the
two collections of scripts and the photographic collections, Marker's
written work precedes his involvement in film. The references to a great
deal of Marker's early written work were provided to me by Daniel Potter.
