Jetée. (1962) Polish born and educated (fine arts,
Cracow) he emigrated to France in 1958. He is internationally renowed
for his animated shorts which are darkly surreal (somewhat in the
Eastern European tradition of animation). His wife, Ligia, also appears in the live action films.
